Happy clients are our top priority and we stand behind the services we provide. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied - please let us know within 3 days of your service and we will gladly correct any concerns.  All corrective appointments must be scheduled and completed within 14 days of the original service.

BHC appreciates your business and respects the value of time for both our clients and our staff.  Although your services are reserved in advance especially for you, we understans that things happen. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask that you please do so at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time. Three (3) or more cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a non-refundable 50% deposit by credit card to book future appointments.

To change your appointment time, please call or text us at 470-375-3801 and we will be happy to change your appointment time. Since we are by-appointment only, we may not be able to accommodate all requests. Three (3) or more appointment changes with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a non-refundable 50% deposit by credit card to book future appointments.

Please be aware after two (2) “no show” appointments, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit by credit card when booking future appointments.

Our BHC salon policy requires our stylists to allow a 15-minute grace period for client arrivals. If you are running late, please give us a call or text at 470-375-3801and we'll let your stylist know. We will do our best to accommodate, but we cannot guarantee a full service for clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late. 

We write this with the utmost respect to all Bristow Hair Company clients. We are also parents and understand that this can be a sensitive issue. All salons present a certain amount of risk to even the most supervised children, such a sharp scissors, hot tools and movable chairs, but our two-story building, busy street and neighboring restaurants/bars present additional risk for little ones and a huge liability for our salon. Therefore, for safety reasons and to ensure the relaxing atmosphere of other guests, no child under the age of 13 will be allowed to accompany a parent during their service. Services will be performed for children ages 12 & up only, at normal salon pricing. Exceptions for services performed on children under 12 will only be made on a case-by-case basis, based on behavior, and with a liability release signed by the accompanying parent.

We sincerely apologize if this causes any inconvenience.  As we said, we are parents too, and we do understand that some times getting childcare is impossible. Should this be the case, please let us know and we will do our best to find a way to accommodate you.

We currently accept cash, checks via EFT, all major credit cards including Visa, MC, AMEX and Discover, and ApplePay. 

Tipping of our service staff is 100% optional but very much appreciated. Our service providers politely ask that tipping be done in cash or through Venmo. Cash envelopes and Venmo information are available at our front desk. If cash or Venmo are not an option, stylist tips can also be placed on credit cards, for your convenience.

Bristow Hair Company gift cards represent a pre-payment for services and products available in-store and on our website. Although we always recommend keeping up with your balance, to make things easier for our clientele, gift cards purchases are logged in our booking system and balances are stored for future use. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash and are not refundable. Gift cards cannot be redeemed for gratuities or to purchase another gift card. Bristow Hair Company is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged cards or any unauthorized use. All prices are subject to change. Gift cards do not expire. 

BHC participates in a large number of local charities and often donates packages and/or gift certficates for auction, sale, or raffle. Gift Certificates are redeemable with any of our stylists, but in the name of fairness, are limited to one per month per stylist. Please call the salon to book this appointment. Should your first choice of stylist not be available that month, our coordinators can tell you which stylist can accommodate your needs or get you scheduled for the earliest appointment available with your chosen stylist. Appointments not scheduled as a gift certificate appointment will be charged at full price.

Our standard BHC Re-do policy is to place the appointment with the original stylist in order to give them a chance to make things right. Refunds will not be given. We do understand, however, that there may be times when a client does not wish to see the original stylist. In this case, a consultation will be set up with the salon owner, Laine Bristow, to discuss corrective appointments and address any issues that may have arisen at your original appointment. 

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product and exchange the product within 14 days for another product of equal value or for a store credit towards a service.Returned products must be in original packaging, with less that 20% usage from the package to be accepted as a return. ** Please note that all returned products are donated to local women's shelters within our community.

BHC strongly advises clients to remove expensive jewelry prior to their appointement and secure such belongings in a safe place before your service. BHC also strongly advises clients to keep all personal belongings with the client or within the clients view at all times during your service. BHC is not responsible for lost or damaged items during your service.

Our Service Providers politey request that you remove your top garment and change into one of the provided robes before receiving your service. Bristow Hair Company IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for any damage to your clothing caused by services performed. This also allows access to the neck and shoulders for an accurate haircut.
