As Owner and Operator, Laine spends most of her time leading her team into their next crazy adventure but her passion for hair and her love for her clients will not allow her to step out from behind the chair completely.

A NOTE FROM LAINE...
"It seems I have been in the beauty industry since I was born, but I could never pick just one specialty in which to land. A self-taught colorist (and cutter of the Barbie dolls ;-), I could never really find where I fit in... so I dabbled in everything. Color, cutting, extensions, makeup, editorial, education, lashes, and nails on one side... salon management and marketing on the other. 

While there was immense satisfaction in all of it, I could never quite find My Tribe, the place where I belonged.

And then Canton Street entered my life and Bristow Hair Company was born...

THE GOAL was to create a culture and environment where all of our clients felt welcome, no matter what their place in life. A salon where clients, staff, and friends alike could come together and build themselves up, not only in the way they look but also in the way they feel. A place where we can all be who we truly are, judgement is left at the door, hectic lives are put on hold for a few moments and we can laugh and cry about everything or nothing at all. 

A place that is as comfortable as it is pretty… with lots of sparkle thrown in the mix (because every woman deserves as much sparkle as she can get in her life)

THIS SALON has grown beyond my wildest dreams. It’s as if my soul just opened up and this place is what poured out. From the crystal chandeliers to the imperfect walls, this building is a combination of old and new, perfect and damaged. The textures inside are as unique as the people in it and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

We have put together a team of Artists whose talents are second to none. There is not a day that goes by that I am not amazed at the transformations walking out of our door. We call our methods Handcrafted, because they truly are. Each look is as unique and extraordinary as the hands that created it. And the personalities attached to those hands are as strong and different as the clients they touch.

It's quite amazing to watch. My heart is touched every day by the sheer amount of empowerment, love and support within these walls. It is a blessing like no other. Come see for yourself. We would love to have you."
